from Villanova University School of Law. She was admitted to
practice law in 1984 and enjoyed a first job as a lawyer serving
as a law clerk for the Honorable Clement McGovern.
Having joined the DCBA in 1985, Patricia has been a
particularly active and contributing member and for more than
3 decades, serving on numerous committees including several
years of service to the DCBA Board of Directors and our
Executive Committee.
Even before there were CLE requirements for our licensure,
Patricia, whether sua sponte or with the assistance of peers,
developed innovative and informative legal education courses
for our DCBA members. In the early 1990s, it is no surprise
that she was instrumental in enabling the DCBA to earn its
certification by the Commonwealth as a certified CLE provider.
Patricia was appointed as a support master by Judge Reid and
has enjoyed a distinguished service to our judiciary in that role
for more than 3 decades. She faithfully attends Bar Association
events and is selflessly and consistently available to further the
mission of the DCBA.

Importantly and significantly, the WILC has enabled more
than a dozen of our formerly less involved DCBA members to
become more frequent attendees at not only WILC events, but
also other DCBA events such as our 2017 Annual Bench Bar
Conference at Sky Top.
Since the WILC's first CLE presentation November 29,
2016 - Hanging your Shingle - the WILC has consistently
presented the highest quality speakers and topics. In March of
2017, WILC's first commemoration of Women's History Month,
they presented an insightful and very well attended CLE on the
tragedy of Human Trafficking in the 21st century. In November,
"PA Appellate Practice: A Judicial Roundtable," which
featured a distinguished panel of Judicial Speakers; namely,
the Honorable Bonnie Brigance Leadbetter, Commonwealth
Court; Honorable Anne E. Covey, Commonwealth Court; and
Honorable Patricia H. Jenkins (Ret.), Superior Court.
Congratulations to the Women in Law Committee ... We look
forward to future innovative and informative WILC CLE events.

Association and in particular with the Women in
the Law Committee
Thanks to the ardent efforts of our colleagues, The Hon.
Stephanie Klein, Esq., and Pamela A. Lee, Esq., the Women
in Law Committee (WILC) has hit the ground running and now,
has almost 60 members (eclipsing in numbers even the Thursday
evening Alan Rosenberg Memorial golf league).
