It is with great,
spirited tradition...

On January 11, 2019,
the Delaware County Bar
Association celebrated its
146th Annual President's
Dinner at Aronimink Golf
Club, Newtown Square.
The purpose of the event
was to honor 2018's
President, Vincent B.
Mancini, and to welcome
the incoming President,
Craig B. Huffman.
Approximately 164 association members and special guests
attended.

The George B. Lindsay Foundation
was given special recognition by
outgoing President Vincent B. Mancini
for its ongoing support of the DCBA.
Accepting the award on behalf of
Lindsay is the Foundation President,
Robert N. Speare.
The Lindsay Foundation has
generously funded many important
projects and programs at the Bar
Association including: renovations to
the lower level conference room and creation of the Lindsay
Lawyers' Lounge, which provides work space for member
attorneys; awarding a grant to the DCBA to help replace the
heating system at the Bar Building; donating the antique
grandfather's clock displayed in the boardroom; annually
sponsoring the Bench Bar Conference and the keynote speaker
at the conference; sponsoring the annual "George B. Lindsay"
lecture series; awarding grants to help defray the cost of
publication of the "Elder Law Handbook"; supporting various
Section and Committee activities
George B. Lindsay was a distinguished member of the
Delaware County Bar Association from 1875-1918, and his
legacy lives on through the work of the Lindsay Foundation.
The Delaware County Bar Association thanks the Board of the
George B. Lindsay Foundation for all of its support.
