Pairings Cigar Bar
12 W State St, Media, PA 19063
A premier full service cigar store with
stick and box purchase options, full bar,
espresso and coffee, small plates in an
unparalleled luxury setting.
One cannot speak about the Dominican
Republic without mentioning the nation's
two greatest passions - baseball and cigars.
Dominican Big Leaguer Cigars (DBL)
is the brainchild of Francisco Almonte.
Francisco started working with tobacco at the age of 7, deveining
leaves for his father, and by the time he was 12 years old, he
was rolling cigars. Tobacco quickly became his passion and
creating fine premium cigars became his mission. Francisco had
the unique opportunity to work under the tutelage of two of the
world's most famous cigar makers, Mr. Carlos Fuente (A. Fuente
Cigars) and Mr. Litto Gomez (La Flor Dominicana Cigars).
Both legendary cigar makers have passed down an abundance
of knowledge to Francisco, who, in turn, has incorporated the
knowledge, experience and craftsmanship into his own brand,
DBL by Francisco Almonte. Having worked alongside two of
the cigar industry's biggest names has given Francisco the ability
to create incredible cigars that are extremely satisfying, full of
flavor and perfectly constructed.

The factory is located in Tamboril,
Santiago on the Dominican Republic.
Tamboril is home to the cigar industry's
biggest names and top rollers. Despite
its small size, Tamboril is often referred
to as the "world capital" of cigars and
cigar rollers because it is the epicenter of
cigar manufacturing, housing more cigar
factories and rollers than anywhere else
on the planet.
DBL by Francisco Almonte uses
highly graded tobacco supplied from
top rated farms from around the world
including Dominican Republic, Peru,
Brazil, Nicaragua, Mexico and Ecuador.
Plus, they have been growing their own
tobacco since 2013 and the first crop will
be ready for use in 2019.
Each one of their tobacco leaves undergoes rigorous curing
and fermentation processes that gives their tobacco the precise
flavors for which they strive. Their rollers are second to none.
They each have decades of experience, giving them the ability
to craft the finest traditional cigars as well as those with unique
shapes and sizes - all while maintaining the perfect draw.

Mission ...
To craft premium cigars that will exceed the
expectations of today's most discerning cigar
smoker.
DBL by Francisco Almonte is about Passion,
Love and Experience. *
