that Kara Humes, Senior
Environmental Manager,
was recently appointed to
the Board of the Lehigh
Valley Pretreatment
Information Exchange, Inc.
(PIX). PIX was founded in
the 1990's by pretreatment
personnel from the
Allentown, Bethlehem,
Catasauqua and Easton wastewater treatment plants.
In the early 2000's, a Lehigh Valley based industry was
ordered to pay a fine to USEPA which was subsequently
earmarked as funds for the PIX Group with the
understanding it would organize as a non-profit and
continue its work with environmental awareness to the
people, industry and regulators of the Lehigh Valley.

Big Ed Burns today
announced that his son,
Ed Burns, is joining
Burns Logistics
Solutions, Inc. as Vice
President of Relationship.
Ed joins Burns Logistics
from Melior Marketing,
which he ran for seven
years. Ed brings his
experience in digital
marketing to Burns
Logistics to create
additional value for their
carrier base and continue
to grow the business.

the addition of Michael
Spotts as Chief Loan
Officer, Tricia Gasdik
as Vice President of

Alissa Christensen as
Branch Sales Manager.
Spotts will be based in

Christensen will lead

Branch Offices in

customers, acquiring

branch.
