Think West Reading By Mark Ratcliffe, Main Street Manager, West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation The warm weather is here and this is one of my favorite times of year in West Reading. Flowers are blooming and people are out on the Avenue enjoying the many new shops that have opened recently. The 600 block alone welcomes three unique businesses: the Beer Wall, an innovative way to purchase beer with great food and classic games; Third Eye New Age Shop features Psychic and Tarot Card Readings; and Unique Finds, which has a great selection of vintage collectables and gifts. 40 COMMERCE QUARTERLY SPRING 2019 Studio West Hair Salon and Bella Lina Salon are new in the 500 block. Gourmand, whose food truck has been a staple at West Reading events and our Farmers Market, has opened a cafe in the 700 block near Barley Mow. Make sure to visit Barley Mow in June to see their expansion. We are also excited for the opening of West Reading Motor Club on the 400 bock, formerly the A-Z Building, and B2Bistro, off of Reading Avenue next to the VF Outlet Store.
