Leadership Studies (undergraduate or graduate, as appropriate)
to any program graduate. These credits can be utilized by the
participant immediately or applied to appropriate degree programs
at a later date.
Additionally, Alvernia will provide a 20 percent tuition discount,
with no time limit, for any Leadership Berks graduate; the discount
must be applied towards a master's degree program at Alvernia.
Under the GRCA umbrella and the co-branded partnership, the
program will leverage the GRCA's extensive network of professional
development resources, additional leaders/faculty, and more. The
GRCA also announced that a new LB Alumni Membership was
available, allowing individuals who are not employed by a Chambermember company to receive benefits of a Chamber membership,
including exclusive discounts, event tickets, and more.
LB's Class of 2019 completed its service-learning consulting for
six local organizations: the GRCA, Berks Christian School, Berks
Community Health Center, Habitat for Humanity of Berks County,
Kutztown Community Partnership, and BCTV. The service hours
LB classes dedicate to community projects average 40 hours per
month, per student, amounting to a huge impact for Berks County.
