Review your risk level. As markets swing, it can test how

Rebalance your portfolio. When markets shift over time,
the balance between stocks and bonds in your portfolio is
likely to change. Unknowingly, the risk level of your portfolio

Be tax efficient. Look for opportunities to shift out of
positions in your portfolio with capital losses and, on the
same day, purchase positions as replacements that are fairly
similar to the positions sold. This allows you to remain in the
market to take advantage of a potential market turnaround,
but also books losses for tax purposes that can be used to
offset future capital gains from a tax perspective.
