Sensory Concepts has always had strict rules for maintaining the
cleanliness of its facility. Because of COVID-19, it transitioned
to a different therapy room after each client, ensuring extra time
for deeper cleaning after each session. It is difficult to wear a mask
during a massage session, and the therapists look forward to ending
this practice. Masks will always be worn to oblige clients who ask
the therapists to wear one. The main focus is and always will be to
work with clients.
In today's society, it is common to mask symptoms with medication
rather than address the source of the problem. Massage therapy can
help with the symptoms of isolation created during the pandemic.
The goal is to continue to help improve quality of life by decreasing
pain and increasing movement through continuous, pain-free
treatment. Right now, it is important to maintain good health and
performance. Sensory Concepts will continue to care for others
through therapeutic massage. It hopes, as the effects of the pandemic
lessen, to see a period of growth to rebuild and recover.
