but we have learned to never say never.
Through this all, we have learned to
focus on what you can do and try not
to focus on what you can't. We adapted
our business by developing an online
store with curbside pickup, which was
not in our plans, but has become an
absolute necessity. Thankfully, a lot of
new customers have found us when they
are searching for local wineries
Moving forward, we are challenged
with making our customers feel that
Ridgewood Winery is even better than
before. Now that our second location
has been reopened, we hope that customers will visit us during this time of
ever-changing rules.

Cutting through the
COVID-19 challenges
On March 16, 2020, the Wyomissing
Hair Studio closed, as deemed a
non-life-sustaining business under the
COVID-19 guidelines mandated by Gov.
Tom Wolf. Ongoing creativity, communication, and continuous clarification
among its 22 employees allowed the
salon team to move through the shock
with as much collective ease as virtually
possible.
"Hair Stylists are typically highly
social individuals," says Cari Nelson,
owner of the Wyomissing Hair
Studio. "Initially, we were in shock."

But their hearts - and social media - never
skipped a beat.
To move through time separately, together, the salon team kept in constant contact
through What's App, held Happy Hour calls on
Zoom, and cataloged photos under the hashtag
#WyoHairQuarantine. Since COVID-19, the
salon team chat is available 24/7, helping to
support any of those momentarily struggling
with new pressures the salon faces as an industry.

At Wyomissing Hair Studio, the focus has
always been providing a superior salon service
experience. While closed, the Wyomissing Hair
Studio took the opportunity for deep sanitation
of the facility and all equipment.
