aily life in the workplace has certainly changed over the
past few months. What was once a space full of vibrancy,
collaboration, hi-fives, and teams has now become one full
of "stand six apart" stickers, plexi screens, hand sanitizer stations and
separation panels. Office Service Company (OSC) has felt this change
as both a company trying to get accustomed to the "new norm" and
as an essential supplier to our community.

to provide take out or curb side pick-up, OSC started ordering from
local restaurants, and each day chose a new one to support.

Just like the rest of the world, our workplace looked and felt different.
Temperatures were taken daily, employees were asked to work from
home, space was allocated differently to further encourage separation
of those who were reporting in and everyone was required to mask
up! But with all this change, OSC didn't want to lose its sense of
culture as a family business. So, like many companies, it adapted.

With so much negativity, change, and stress impacting personal
lives, being able to look forward to something like a new recipe, the
next episode of a miniseries, or a pair of smiling eyes behind a mask
has resulted in our team becoming happy, healthy and very connected.
We knew "the why" of what OSC was doing and combined with an
environment that emphasized fun and unity, COVID wasn't able to
diminish team members' spirits. 2020 has shown us a lot over the
last six months, but one thing we must not forget is that despite all
our differences and no matter how much physical space is between
us, just a little bit of caring and a bit of effort can bring us all much
closer together.
