We want our associates to have a steady
stream of fun and community-building
events that elevates our culture and shows
appreciation for the hard work everyone
puts into serving our customers.
Making Singer a fun place to work is
important to building our culture, but we
put even more focus on making sure our
team members have a rewarding career at
Singer. Our team members receive training
that enhances their professional skills
and provides opportunity to take on new
responsibilities. To provide career growth
opportunities for our team members we
continue to grow organically and through
acquisitions. There is always a chance for
promotion and to take on new challenges.
Our team members need to have deep
expertise in our portfolio to help our clients,
and this expertise takes years to acquire.
Therefore, we want our team members
to see Singer as a place where they can
build a rewarding and lifelong career. We
work hard to communicate with our team
members so that everyone understands how
the company is doing, what our company
goals are, and how those goals relate to
the work of each associate. It makes a big
difference when everyone knows what
we are trying to accomplish together and
how we are doing in achieving our goals.
The pandemic has changed what our
employees want from Singer. Many of our
team members who have worked remotely
for the last year and a half want more
flexibility in their schedule going forward.
We recognize that certain elements of office
work are important to help grow our culture,
collaborate on project work and help train
new associates. But we will create options
and opportunities for many of our team
members who have enjoyed the benefits of
working from their home.
Our mission is to create enriching
relationships with all who touch our
business - customers,
vendors
and
employees alike. We are on a never-ending
quest to make Singer a company that
attracts the best talent and a place where
our associates chose to build a happy and
fulfilling career.
