RKL LLP announced the
admission of four new
partners to firm leadership:
Travis A. Bieber, CPA,
Benjamin J. Fortner, J.D.,
Timothy D. Kraft, CPA,
and Joshua L. Weiss, CPA,
MST. Bieber will serve as
a partner in RKL's Audit
Services Group, where
he will continue to lead
assurance engagements
for clients in a wide variety
of industries, including
manufacturing, distribution
and food processing, and
employee benefit plans.
Fortner will serve as a
partner in RKL's Tax Services
Group and continue to lead
the firm's Research and
Development (R&D) Credit
Practice. Kraft will serve
as partner in RKL's Audit
Services Group. Weiss will
serve as partner in RKL's Tax
Services Group, where he
will continue to serve the
tax planning and
compliance needs of clients
in the manufacturing,
distribution and service
industries.
Riverfront Federal
Credit Union held a grand
opening and ribbon-cutting
ceremony for its new branch
and operations center in
Wyomissing on Wednesday,
June 16. The new branch and
operations center is located
at 2609 Keiser Blvd. The day's
events included remarks from
Riverfront CEO Tim McLeod and Board Chairman, John
Kline as well as education about the new branch's
service offering and free giveaways.
Fresh off of the (virtual) red
carpet at the Big Apple Film
Festival, where the team won
Best Screenplay for a Comedy,
filmmakers Sue Lange and Tracy
Schott are thrilled to announce
that two businesses in the Berks
region have recently signed on
as location investors for the LE BON CHEF film. Dans
at Green Hills has become an official location in the
soon-to-be-shot film which takes place in a highend
French restaurant. Dans will be featured in the
dining room scenes. Shuman Development Group
is likewise offering a filming location. The historic
Abraham Lincoln Hotel at
5th and Washington Streets
in Reading will be the site
of the kitchen scenes.

(RBS), one of the world's

promotion of Steve Moya
to Manager, RBS Science &
Innovation Center. In his new
role, Moya will oversee the
Science & Innovation Center
facility and management of
staff, all customer on‐site and
virtual product trials, as well
as research and development
projects for the company.
