Its team of otolaryngologists uses the latest
advances in minimally invasive techniques
to treat people of all ages and backgrounds.
It has staff who are bilingual in both English
and Spanish, allowing them to better connect
and communicate with Lancaster County's
diverse patient population.
Dr. John Miller, a board-certified otolaryngologist, stressed their collective goal of
providing each member of a patient's family
with individualized, compassionate care.
Here are just some of the more
common conditions they treat:
Allergies: Sublingual immunotherapy
(SLIT) can be a convenient, effective alternative to allergy shots and is now available.
With SLIT, an allergy extract is produced
for each patient and dropped daily under
their tongue at home. SLIT has the ability
to alter the immune system from allergic
to non-allergic over time and is tailored to

each patient's particular allergies, unlike
over-the-counter medicines.

(CPAP) devices to surgical procedures.

Nose and sinus care: The ENT Center
can evaluate and treat a range of conditions,
including nose fractures, sinus infections,
chronic sneezing, and headaches that may
be related to sinus congestion.

Pediatric care: For children who are
delayed in speaking, it is important to make
sure there is not a hearing loss. The ENT
Center's collaborative approach to evaluating
speech delay and hearing concerns involves
its audiologists and otolaryngologists who
have extensive pediatric experience.

Hearing Center: In addition to testing
and fitting hearing devices through its
in-house hearing center, the clinical staff can
also evaluate and treat chronic ear infections,
unexplained ear pain, swelling, or redness,
persistent excessive ear wax, and bruising/
swelling/pain following an injury.
Sleep apnea: From chronic congestion
to tonsil or adenoid problems to excessive
soft-palate tissue, a variety of nose and
throat issues can often go undiagnosed
and affect the quality of patients' sleep. The
ENT Center can help identify the issue and
recommend a variety of treatments ranging

Face, neck, and thyroid: Lumps and
bumps can occur anywhere on the face or
in the neck. The ENT Center has the expertise to diagnose and treat these problems,
whether they occur as a developmental cyst
in a child, a skin cancer arising from sun
exposure, or benign or malignant tumors
of the thyroid or salivary glands.
