We welcome two new specialists to our NeuroScience
& Spine Associates practice and spine program.

Hundreds of families have participated in this program. In 2019
we served approximately 130 children, teens, and adults. The
Mental Health Copay Assistance Program removes the financial
barrier of mental health care and expands access for those who
have commercial insurance yet cannot afford the high cost of
copays to continue mental health care.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began last spring, we recognized the need for good self-care, especially among helping
professionals, such as physicians, nurses, teachers, mental health
providers, and social services. We provided a six-part series of
conversations with local experts to understand and practice
self-care strategies online. These recordings are available on
our YouTube channel. We are also working with colleagues
from across Pennsylvania to expand the availability of support
groups for health care providers, such as physicians, nurses,
long-term care facility personnel, first responders, and families.
Simultaneously, we have advocated for continued access to telehealth and teletherapy services, including reimbursements to
providers commensurate with in-person services. We encourage
families, teens, and all patients who need to see a mental health
provider to continue with treatment, whether it is in-person
or via telehealth.
