Reservations are necessary on the weekend but not on a weeknight
for a nice meal after work. Although it was not warm enough to
sit outside on either of our visits, the restaurant has a nice outdoor
seating area that we hope to check out on a future visit.

On the first occasion, we sat at a table in the main
dining room. The décor is modern, and a map of the
Mediterranean Sea is painted on the wall. The service was
prompt and efficient, but not intrusive. I decided to try
one of their signature cocktails, called the "Gin Master,"
an excellent update to a Tom Collins. My husband had
Lancaster Brewing Company Lager on draft. We then each
ordered salads; I had the Arugula and Kale salad with shaved
apple and lemon vinaigrette. The salad was very good, but
I had "salad envy" when I saw my husband's Caesar salad.
It was beautiful and fresh, made with baby red and green
romaine, roasted tomatoes, white anchovies, and garlic
croutons. As an entrée, my husband ordered Spaghettini
Carbonara with smoked bacon, fresh egg yolk, spinach,
and parmesan cheese. He thought the pasta was very tasty
but slightly overcooked. I had the Tuna Tataki, which was
perfectly cooked and came with a side of avocado salad,
sesame French beans, sriracha aioli and crisp wonton.

On our second visit, we decided to mix it up a bit. We
sat at the U-Shaped bar and had our dinner there. The
full-service bar offers multiple local craft beers on tap.
Our server was Gareth, whose vaguely Australian accent
we learned was actually a British accent muddled by five
years of living in California before moving to Lancaster.
He gladly served us each a beer sample at no charge, so
we could confirm our favorites before ordering a pint. We
both had a Victory Brewing Company DirtWolf Double
IPA. This time, both my husband and I ordered a Caesar
salad. My husband then had a burger and fries, which were
appropriately huge and well-seasoned. I wanted something
a little less huge, so I ordered the Lobster Tacos, sort of a
high-end interpretation of fish tacos. After polishing that
off, we had coffee and shared a slice of cheesecake, which
was just the right amount for two people.
