CALL FOR ARTICLES

MCMS Physician provides comprehensive information on issues concerning quality health
care in Montgomery County. The quarterly publication is distributed to all members,
regional health care executives, legislators and the general public. MCMS Physician
would like to invite all Board Members to submit articles for publication. We welcome
articles that have a wide range of topics, including healthcare subject matter, public
interest articles written by or about members, and topics about medical issues that impact
our physicians, the community, hospitals, healthcare and membership news. For more

LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) is hosting year-round education for
physicians and team leaders in practices, groups, hospitals, and health systems who
are candidates for comprehensive leadership training. The deadline to register for the
academy is Aug. 15, 2017.
The program provides physicians with broad, practical leadership training; facilitates
networking and mentoring for participants; and helps them resolve challenges within
their practice settings.
The 10-month program will run from Sept. 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018 and will include
online courses and three day-long live sessions. Participants in the fall 2017 learning
group will be able to earn 52.5 CME credits and 45.5 credits toward the Certified
Physician Executive (CPE) certification if they complete the full complement of courses.
All courses are accredited for CME through the American Association for Physician
Leadership (AAPL), or the Pennsylvania Medical Society. For more information, please
