Meet the Newest Additions to our Board of Directors

Rebecca Sallen, Esq.
Rebecca Sallen graduated from
Emory University magna cum laude.
She was on the Dean's List and Honor
Roll. While pursuing her law degree
at Saint Louis University, Ms. Sallen
also received a certificate from the
nationally recognized William C.
Wefel Center. Rebecca Sallen has taken a deep understanding of
Estate Planning, Administration and Probate and combined it
with her skills in mediation, alternative tension resolution, and
coalition building to help her clients and their families. She was
named Top Lawyer by Main Line Today for Trusts and Wills and
Best 20 of 20 Attorneys for Estate Administration by Expertise.
Ms. Sallen has written papers and spoken to audiences about
the impact of family responsibilities and relationships within
various economic strata, current laws and upcoming statutes
affecting individual rights and finances and how to create
inclusive environments for optimal tension resolution.
Prior to her law career, Ms. Sallen enjoyed working in
politics. As a political consultant, she ran local, congressional,
state, and presidential campaigns across the United States. She
also worked at several national women's organizations including
NOW Legal Defense Fund and Planned Parenthood Action
Fund. She co-wrote and co-edited chapters "Coalition Building"
and "Public Benefits" for NOW Legal Defense and Educational
Fund's publication Breaking Barriers (2004).
Rebecca Sallen is the mother of two beautiful children who
inspire her to be a better person. Rebecca Sallen is involved with
her local community. She is the Treasurer of the Probate & Tax
Section for the Montgomery Bar Association and volunteers
for the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project. In addition to
taking pro bono cases, she is the legal counselor for the nonprofit
organizations "So 2 Speak" and "Together We Act." She has
worked for ten years with blind, autistic and physically impaired
children. She has taught American Sign Language to college
students and children.


Lisa A. Shearman, Esq.
Officer - Secretary
Lisa A. Shearman has been
advising clients throughout the
Commonwealth for over 25 years. Her
practice focuses in the area of family
wealth management, including estate
planning, estate administration, tax
planning, and business succession. She
incorporates a team approach in counseling clients and facilitates
interaction among all of her clients' professional advisors to
ensure comprehensive results are obtained. Her knowledge of
the state and federal tax laws enables her to provide sophisticated
planning solutions for her clients. Lisa is licensed to practice
before the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars, and she is admitted
to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA),
the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA), the Montgomery
County Estate Planning Council (as a member of the Board
of Directors), and the Women in Profession Committee of the
PBA. She participates in the Real Property, Probate and Trust
Law Section of the PBA and serves on Council of that Section
and is also a member of the Probate and Tax Section of the
MBA, where she serves as Vice-Chair. Lisa is Vice-President
and serves on the Board of Directors of the Wills for Heroes
Foundation, a national organization devoted to providing free
wills and other estate planning documents for emergency first
responders and veterans. Lisa is a member of the Montgomery
County Community College Planned Giving Advisory Board
and is a Board of Director for the Building Bridges Foundation
at Anderson Farm. She is the 2015 Recipient of the Pennsylvania
Bar Association's Special Achievement Award and the 2013
Recipient of the Montgomery Bar Foundation's Honorable
Milton O. Moss Public Service Award for her work with the
Wills for Heroes Foundation. Lisa is the 2011 Recipient of the
Verdina Showell Award, presented by the PBA to recognize a
lawyer's outstanding community service and commitment to
the Wills for Heroes Program and has been recognized by other
organizations for her pro bono service. A graduate of Villanova's
Graduate Tax Program (LL.M. 1994), Lisa received her law
