Steven A. Hann, Esq., a Principal at Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin,
Maxwell & Lupin, spoke recently at the 2019 Pennsylvania
Municipal Authorities Association's ("PMAA") 77th Annual
Conference and Trade Show in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania.
PMAA is the statewide organization representing the interests
of municipal authorities in the Commonwealth. At this year's
conference, Steve spoke on various topics, including Chesapeake
Bay-related issues, an update on recent legislation, regulations
and judicial decisions relevant to Pennsylvania municipal
authorities, and an overview of privatization issues affecting water
and wastewater authorities in Pennsylvania.
David N. Hofstein, Esq., a shareholder in the Philadelphia
based domestic relations firm Hofstein Weiner & Meyer, P.C.,
was the coordinator of and panelist on the December 11, 2019
national webinar on Ethics in Family Law sponsored by the
American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin is pleased to
announce that attorney Daniel L. Maschi, Esq., has joined
the firm as an Associate in the firm's Real Estate, Municipal and
Business departments.
The firm is also pleased to announce that Carl N.Weiner,
Esq., Co-Chair of the firm's Real Estate Practice, recently
testified at a hearing before the Pennsylvania Senate Urban
Affairs Committee at the request of the Community Associations
Institute (CAI) relating to Senate Bill 802. Carl testified as
to the need at the county level to create a database which
identifies associations, provides a basic description of the land
area and number of units and provides information about the
infrastructure maintained by the association.
Stephen G.Yusem, Esq., one of the area's leading and most
respected Arbitrators and Neutrals, recently taught a course in
international commercial arbitration at the Royal University for
Women (RUW) located in Riffa at the invitation of the Kingdom
of Bahrain. RUW was founded in 2002 by His Majesty King
Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa as one of only two law schools in
the world teaching women exclusively. The Fulbright Specialist
Program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the
Department of State, under whose auspices Mr. Yusem travelled
serving as a Fulbright Specialist, promotes linkages between U.S.
professionals and their counterparts at host institutions around
the world.

Attorney Matthew T.Wilkov, Esq., a partner at the Lansdale
law firm of Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, P.C.,
has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the National
Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Montgomery County PA
Affiliate. NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and
public awareness so that all individuals and families affected
by mental illness can build better lives. For over four decades,
NAMI Montgomery County PA has established itself as the most
formidable grassroots mental health advocacy organization in the
county.
Robert R.Watson, Jr., Esq., a shareholder in Eastburn and
Gray, PC, was elected to serve as a Director for the ABC Eastern
Pennsylvania Chapter. He has been actively involved with the
ABC for almost 20 years and previously served as a Director from
2008 - 2011. Mr. Watson is a shareholder in the firm's Blue Bell,
Montgomery County office and he is a member of the firm's
Management Committee.
The firm is also pleased to announce that Marc D. Jonas, Esq.,
was reappointed solicitor of the Lower Salford Township Zoning
Hearing Board. He has served in this capacity since 1995. In
addition to local governmental boards, Mr. Jonas represents
businesses, institutions, and individuals in real estate, zoning,
subdivision, and land development matters.
The Women's Center of Montgomery County honored two of
our members during their annual Spring Fundraiser, held at
Manufacturers Golf & Country Club in Fort Washington, PA
on April 3, 2020. The Honorable Andrea Hudak Duffy
received the Community Empowerment Champion Award
and Marguerite M. Nocchi, Esq., received the Toby Lynn
Dickman Award for her advocacy and protection of victims'
rights.
Attorney Jay C. Glickman, Esq., a partner at the Lansdale
law firm of Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, P.C., has
been reappointed to a number of commissions in Montgomery
Township. These include: the Montgomery Township
Planning Commission, the Montgomery Township Shade Tree
Commission, and the Montgomery Township Open Space
Committee.
Attorneys and staff from Eastburn and Gray proudly observed
the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday by volunteering their
time at the Valley Youth House (VYH) shelter in Warminster
on Monday, January 20, 2020. The team painted several rooms
