her daily life. Before long she was enrolling in more advanced
classes to gain a clearer understanding of various methods and
philosophies she could employ to help manage her busy home and
work life. While she admits being an instructor was never in her
plans, having recorded over 500 hours of registered coursework
now allows her the freedom to share her passion with groups and
individuals she feels will benefit most based on her own instincts,
life experience and discretion.
Deserae Chanel Smith
is also no stranger to her
practice, having taught over
1,000 students thus far. Her
dream as an entrepreneur
began in 2017 when she left
her corporate finance position
to launch a successful cleaning
business. Like Tracey, her
thirst for knowledge about the
practice stemmed from her
need to remain centered as an
entrepreneur. It was in February
2018 after graduating training
that her life as a YOGIpreneur
began. What she loved about
yoga was its ability to help keep
calm, offer a sense of direction
and provide a larger perspective on life. Along with the fact that
hot yoga has been her home base from the beginning of her
journey, the blissful feeling of breaking through the mental strains
on the mat helped heighten her awareness of the mind and body
off of the mat. These benefits helped mold her into who she is
today, attributing much of her mental and physical wellbeing to
the practice of movement, meditation and breathing.
Both Tracey and Deserae are grateful to share their knowledge
and experience with our members.
