Women in the Law Committee Spends
Galentine's Day at the Petal Bar!

n February 17, the MBA's Women in the Law Committee sponsored a sold out
virtual workshop during which attendees assembled a dried floral arrangement.
The event was hosted by The Petal Bar (an affiliate of The Succulent Bar - who
hosted our holiday succulent workshop in December). Attendees received a package of
materials in advance and personal, guided instruction from Jessica at The Petal Bar, learning
how to create a unique and vibrant floral arrangement that will last for years to come.

MBA Launches New Podcast

Interrogatories with Josh Camson. During each episode, host
Josh Camson sits down with a different member of the bar
association or local legal community to discuss a variety of
topics, including the practice of law, hobbies, interests, family,
and anything else that comes up. The goal of our podcast is
to allow members to learn more about each other, to discover
common interests, and to realize that we're all in this together.

ne of the many devastating effects of the COVID-19
pandemic has been the prohibition of in-person
gatherings and how that has impacted our ability to
socialize, network, and connect. Because we are an organization
predicated on social events and networking, the MBA has been
exploring alternative ways to keep the lines of communication
open.
In an effort to help members get to know each other a
little better, the MBA has entered the world of podcasts with

Josh Camson is a criminal defense and child welfare
attorney and a partner at Miller, Turetsky, Rule & McLennan
in Collegeville. He started his practice in Washington County,
PA before relocating to Montgomery County in 2017. A former
instructor in trial advocacy, Josh has also created and presented
numerous CLEs throughout Pennsylvania including: Seinfeld
and the Law; No Chance of Going to Jail, a Criminal Law
Primer; and Better Call Saul - The Ethics of Breaking Bad.
