Timoney Knox, LLP is pleased to
announce that Christine M. Gordon has
been elected a partner of the firm effective
January 1, 2021. Gordon, of Ivyland,
Bucks County, joined the firm in May
2011 and focuses her practice on school
and special education law. She helped
develop the firm's Students' Rights practice,
which represents parents and students
with disabilities in securing appropriate
educational programs and services, as
well as in education-related matters
involving school bullying, discrimination,
harassment, and sexual and/or physical
abuse in schools.
Robert C. Gerhard, III recently
authored the 17th Edition of his elder law
treatise, Pennsylvania Medicaid, Longterm Care, published January 2021 by
the George T. Bisel Company. The text
discusses the eligibility rules for medical
assistance (Medicaid) benefits that pay for
in-home and nursing facility care.

William G. Roark recently received
the Special Achievement Award from
the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA)
recognizing his work in starting up the
Association's Medical Marijuana & Hemp

The Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA)
LGBTQ+ Rights Committee presented
its 2020 David M. Rosenblum LGBTQ+
Public Policy Award to Ellen S. Fischer
of Bloom Peters, LLC of Horsham virtually
at an awards ceremony as part of PBA
Committee/Section Day. Fischer recently
moved to Bloom Peters, a female-owned
firm in Montgomery County, PA. The
award honors an individual who has
effected change resulting in a positive
impact for the LGBTQ community and
who has used their position of leadership
to inspire others to act and promote civil
rights and equality.
At its regularly scheduled meeting of
February 1, 2021 the Judicial Conduct
Board of Pennsylvania ( " Board " ) elected
its officers for the coming year. The
Board unanimously re-elected Thomas
J. Elliott as Chair, Judge Nina Wright
Padilla as Vice-Chair, and Judge Renée
Cohn Jubelirer as Secretary. The twelve-

member Board is an independent
Board within the Judicial Branch of
the Commonwealth's government that
comprises twelve Pennsylvania citizens:
three judges, three lawyers, and six nonlawyer electors. Mr. Elliott is a Senior
Shareholder and Vice President of the
Elliott Greenleaf law firm. He is a former
member of the Disciplinary Board of the
Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and is
currently a member of the Pennsylvania Bar
Association's Committee on Legal Ethics
and Professional Responsibility. He is
currently President of the Historical Society
of the United States District Court for the
Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
