Wisler Pearlstine is pleased to announce
that attorneys Kyle J. Somers and Justin
D. Barbetta have joined the firm as
partner and associate, respectively. Kyle
J. Somers, Esq., has dedicated his
practice to representing school districts
and other public entities for over a decade.
He currently serves as a solicitor for
several school districts in Pennsylvania.
Matters on which he regularly advises his
clients include board governance, policy
development, public records, employment
and labor issues, special education, and
student civil rights. Justin D. Barbetta,
Esq., has represented school districts and
intermediate units in matters involving civil
rights, labor and employment, contract,
special education, student services, and
tax assessment issues. He has years of
trial (jury and non-jury) and litigation
experience in the state and federal courts
of Pennsylvania and has handled appeals
before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals,
Commonwealth Court, and Supreme
Court of Pennsylvania.
Kate M. Harper, Esq., a partner at
Timoney Knox LLP, recently gave a
seminar at the annual WeConservePa.org
conference on recent amendments to the
PA Recreational Use of Land and Water
Act. The law, known as the RULWA,
provides certain immunities from lawsuits
to those who allow their land to be used
without charge for recreation.

75th year since its founding on April 2,

Daniel J. Siegel, Esq., recently joined the
Board of Directors for the Anti-Defamation

new role, Dan will help execute ADL's goal

hate. Mr. Siegel, along with co-author Pam

McCaul, Esq. l has joined the firm as an
Associate. John McCaul is an experienced
trial lawyer and a member of the Firm's
Commercial Litigation and Personal
Injury Teams. Before joining the firm,
John served for many years as an Assistant
District Attorney in the Chester County
District Attorney's Office where he was
the lead attorney for multiple felony and
misdemeanor cases- trying many matters
to verdict and honing his overall litigation
