Seventh Annual MCAP Salute
to Heroes Dinner Dance
& Silent Auction

O

n November 18, 2017, MCAP hosted its Seventh
Annual MCAP Salute to Heroes Dinner Dance
& Silent Auction at the Marriott Hotel in West
Conshohocken. The spectacular night was dedicated to
celebrating consumer and education advocate Tracy Davidson,
and all MCAP advocates who volunteer their time to make
MCAP work.
Before a wonderful crowd, everyone enjoyed great food, fun,
lucrative auction items, and terrific live music from The Slippery
Band. The Patriarch Foundation was the premiere sponsor,
represented by gracious hosts, Anthony and Kate Imbesi.
Guests had the opportunity to bid on about forty items in a
silent auction and three dynamite items in a live auction. Items
included premiere tickets to the Eagles game, a wine tasting
extravaganza, photography sessions, a one-of-a-kind trip to
an exclusive rare car museum, and a spectacular necklace and
earrings from Barbara B's Jewelry.
Everyone was a winner, especially MCAP. As MCAP
advocate and Board President John Howland observed,
"Everyone should be here who is involved with children in or
outside of the legal system, or who just cares about helping
the victims of child abuse! All of the players are here. It is a
fun, educational and rewarding night, while at the same time
supporting a great cause."
Certainly, the event was a great start for holiday shoppers
as well as a marvelous way to share holiday cheer. A special
thanks to all who participated to make this evening a success as
sponsors, donors, guests and especially the MCAP staff, Stacey
Halstead, Pat Teaford, Jill Ringold and Heather Evans.
Since 2004, MCAP has served over 5,100 children. In the
last fourteen years, MCAP and its 125 volunteer lawyers have
helped many children who felt unsafe and unprotected by those
caretakers who should have had their best interests at heart. Stay
