e are happy to bring you
another issue of Vital Signs,
focusing on travel. As our
wet Summer turned quickly into Fall
this year in NEPA, you may be longingly
looking back on your Summer travels or
dreamily planning your next getaway.
While traveling can be stressful at times,
it also allots time to relax and recharge,
whether it be an unplugged beach vacation
or a mountain adventure. If you're like
me, having a trip to look forward to
can help push you through a hard week
at work. I find being immersed in a

different environment or culture helps
offer perspective for personal reflection.
I believe this makes me a better me and a
better provider to my patients. However,
travel does pose some potential health
concerns. Inside, you will find some useful
articles to help you plan and travel safer,
healthier and more informed.

be stressful, but the best way to maximize
your fun is to be cautious and well prepared.
