Penn vet career fair
On December 3, 2019, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA),
the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA),
and the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA) held its Annual Penn
Vet Career Fair at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine
campus in Philadelphia. There were 35 exhibitors, 10 sponsors and over 100
students that visited with potential employers.

Girls World Expo
On October 27, 2019 Dr. Jennifer Koehl volunteered to host our
booth at this year's Girls World Expo while the rest of the staff
was at Bark in the Park! She was able to spread the word to girls
about careers in the veterinary profession. The day-long event was
created by local teen girls for local teen girls. The Girls Advisory
Board, made up of teens from Harrisburg, created a unique show
just for girls! The day was filled with seminars, performances,
demonstrations, vendors, and exhibitors.

cause!
