REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS:

The decision to hold classes is based on enrollment; refunds
for recreation programs will be processed upon request in
accordance with the following guidelines:
*	 Full refunds/credits will be issued if Spring Township
cancels a program.
*	 A minimum $5.00 service charge will be assessed for
any cancellation by participant. Fees may vary.
*	 No refunds will be issued after the program begins.
*	 Participants assume the risk of changes in personal
affairs or health.
*	 Refund policy may vary per program.

PHOTO INFORMATION:

We may take your picture during recreation programs or at
events. Photos may be displayed at administration building,
on our website, in future program guides, in the Township
Newsletter or submitted to the newspaper. Please let us
know if this presents a problem.

SAFETY / WAIVER OF LIABILITY:

The Township of Spring Parks and Recreation Department
is dedicated to providing safe facilities, equipment and
programs, as well as qualified staff. Nevertheless the
Township is not responsible for any injuries sustained as a
result of participation in any Department sponsored activity
or while using Department facilities. It is recommended
that anyone enrolled in a class/program/trip, or using
Township facilities, make provisions for adequate coverage
with their own insurance plan. Also, please check with
your doctor before enrolling in any activity which requires
walking, fitness, swimming, etc. It is the assumption of our
Department that the participant knows the risks involved
with the class/program/trip. A signed waiver is required for
participation in all programs.

SPECIAL NEEDS:

Customers with challenges or special needs who wish
to participate in or have questions about our recreation
programs or park facilities should contact the Program
Coordinator or Department Director at 610-678-5399.

RESIDENTS & NON-RESIDENTS:

A resident is considered any person who lives within the
geographical boundaries of the Township of Spring. Proof of
residency may be required. Non-resident fees may apply to
some programs and facility rentals.

REGISTRATIONS AND PAYMENTS ARE REQUIRED PRIOR
TO THE START OF THE PROGRAM. REGISTRATIONS AND
PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THE PROGRAM SITE.

CLASS CANCELLATION/
WEATHER POLICY:

The Township of Spring Parks and Recreation Department
reserves the right to cancel any activity due to lack of
enrollment, inclement weather, or cause beyond our control.
In the event of inclement weather please check our website at
www.springtwpberks.org for cancellations or early closing of
the facility.

TRIP POLICIES:

1.	 Seats are available on a first paid/first served basis. Please
indicate any special requests at the time of registration.
Special requests cannot be guaranteed but will be
considered.
2.	 A detailed itinerary will be mailed two weeks before the
trip confirming trip logistics.
3.	 Please register early so the trips won't be cancelled. If the
Department cancels a trip, a full refund will be given.
4.	 No refunds can be given if you must cancel two weeks
prior to the trip, unless a replacement is found. (Note:
Refund Policy for ticketed or overnight trips may vary.)
5.	 Motor coach will have air conditioning and restroom.
Smoking and alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted on
the motor coach.
OOPS! We have made every effort to prepare this brochure as
accurately as possible. However, circumstances may require
that adjustments be made to programs, fees, schedules,
etc., and errors can occur. Please note that dates, prices and
content listed in this publication are subject to change. We
reserve the right to make any such adjustments, and apologize
for any inconvenience these errors or adjustments may cause.
