$32K grant announced for West Reading Community Revitalization S tate Rep. Mark Rozzi and State Sen. Judy Schwank announced a $32,500 grant has been approved for the West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation as part of the state's COVID-19 Relief - Supporting Elm and Main program. " COVID-19 has affected so many parts of our everyday lives, so I'm proud to see the state step in to lend a hand to make certain important community organizations cannot only survive during these trying times, but also continue the important work and services they provide, " Rozzi said. The COVID-19 Relief - Supporting Elm and Main program is responsible for supporting community revitalization organizations dedicated to the community and economic development in older and historic downtowns, commercial districts and neighborhoods. " I'm delighted that the Borough of West Reading will benefit from this grant, " Schwank said. " They have been on the cutting edge of communities in Berks County, and the commonwealth, in regards to promoting outstanding Main Street and Elm Street projects.
