We must be kind and supportive. This pandemic has significantly
impacted every aspect of society. This in turn led to a rise in mental
health issues. Our patients are scared, stressed, and continue to face
uncertainty. We must pull together to continue to advocate for our
patients and provide a supportive environment where they can speak
openly and get the help that they need. Providing a comprehensive
list of all our mental health resources for not only our patients, but our
physicians that have faced challenges and stress this past year, is another
goal that I will accomplish this year as president.
As a society we must continue to advocate for our patients. Living
through this pandemic has shown us not only that we are essential to
society, but we must be the voice for those we serve. We must continue
to be safe, smart, and kind. This coming year I will set the example of
safety, intelligence, and kindness through my role as President of the
York County Medical Society. Thank you for this opportunity.

Dear Colleague;
The York County Medical Society is seeking physicians interested in becoming members of the
Board of Directors. We welcome your attendance at a future meeting to familiarize yourself with
our board meeting agenda and discussions. The board meets on the third Thursday of every
month via Zoom. Meetings are held from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. It appears that even after
COVID restrictions are lifted, board meetings will continue via Zoom, with the possibility of one
in-person meeting per quarter which would be held in the Education Pavilion, 3rd Floor conference
room at York Hospital. Board members are required to join the York County Medical
Society and the Pa. Medical Society. Board member commitments range from one year to three
