XTRM PLY TEXTURED FPVC
XTRM Ply
Textured fPVC is
used for primary
containment
liners, landfill
liners, landfill caps,
leachate ponds,
waterproofing,
decorative ponds
and lakes, irrigation
ponds and more.
What makes XTRM Ply Textured fPVC unique
is that it is provided with one side textured.
This significantly enhances interface friction
between the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) liner
and either compacted soil or a geotextile. In
addition, it is offered at a width of 120 inches.
This allows the field or factory fabrication
welding process time to be reduced and
reduces the number of welded seams required
when compared to typical 76-inch-wide
products. Fewer seams = less seam testing and
lower potential of seam failure.
XTRM PLY EPS WRAP
TEKTOSEAL ACTIVE
XTRM Ply EPS Wrap
is a sustainable
solution for
infrastructure
construction,
roadways, bridges
and embankments.
e2/EPT EPSWrap™,
comprised of
a reinforced,
petroleum resistant
geomembrane (PRG) fabric (EPT XTRM Ply
HPLX), acts as a sealed barrier, providing the
necessary strength required to handle the
loads created by the soils covering expanded
polystyrene (EPS) geofoam. Most importantly,
the material is resistant (in the case of a tanker
spill) to a wide range of petroleum- and
petrochemical-based liquids. e2/EPT products
are engineered to have extreme tear and
tensile resistance.
HUESKER's
Tektoseal Active
product family
marks a further
milestone in the
development
of reliable and
durable systems
for binding
contaminants from
polluted soils and
waters. The relocation of contaminated soils
is frequently unfeasible or undesirable for
logistical or safety reasons. The prevention of
contaminant migration to unpolluted areas
requires solutions that are readily adaptable
to specific site conditions. Tektoseal Active is
a customizable product for contaminated site
remediation, groundwater protection and oil
absorption. Unlike conventional solutions,
which typically consist of loose components,
geocomposites are straightforward to use.
They comprise three permanently bonded
layers with an active intermediate layer of
polymer-based materials, activated carbon,
organoclay or calcium phosphate, depending
on the desired function or mechanism, to
cover a wide range of applications.

ECOLINE-HATELIT C
XTRM PLY TEXTURED RLLDPE
XTRM Ply Textured
linear low-density
polyethylene
(rLLDPE) is a
sustainable
solution for the oil
and gas industries,
infrastructure,
tank liners,
containment pits,
leach ponds and
secondary containment. This new line of stringreinforced LLDPE by e2/EPT is a composite
membrane with the specific properties required
for geomembranes and other demanding
applications. e2/ EPT has specially formulated
its LLDPE fabric for high resistance to chemicals
and ultraviolet light, and offers the material
with a puncture- and tear-resistant stringreinforced scrim. It is ideal for use in solid and
hazardous waste landfills, construction and
demolition (C&D) landfills, mining, industrial,
municipal water and wastewater treatment. It is
120 inches wide.
HUESKER launches
the world's first
geogrid made
from 100%
recycled polyester
(PET). With the
introduction of
the new ecoLine,
the company
is focusing on
even more
environmentally friendly solutions that
already conserve natural resources during
production and offer the same quality as their
conventional counterparts. The launch starts
with the HaTelit C asphalt reinforcement grid,
which has been established on the market
for more than 40 years and is used for the
rehabilitation of asphalt pavements. Different
from the classic HaTelit reinforcement grids,
which consist of conventionally produced PET,
the ecoLine replaces 100% of the PET yarns
with recycled yarns. The recycled material is
produced from disposed PET bottles, which
can be fed back into the production cycle in
the form of granulate. The used recycled PET
is an equivalent substitute for the original
PET yarn. It has the same high quality and the
same properties.
SILTRON
HUESKER & MKB
Co. LLC, together,
have developed
a new class of
silt fence around
the geotextile
SILTRON®. SILTRON
is the new
perimeter fencing
geotextile designed
to ensure the highest level of environmental
protection on a construction site. Its strong,
three-layer composite resists punctures and
tears with no wire backing required, while
trapping viscous pollutants. SILTRON is available
in four different heights as pre-staked bundles.
Independent testing of SILTRON shows
industry-leading performance in hydraulic flow
under sediment load, sediment retention and
blinding resistance. SILTRON functions as a
dynamic filter-ponder, which allows it to adjust
to changing stormwater intensity across the
entire face of the composite geotextile. Other
fencing products either blind too fast (leading
to physical failure) or allow too much sediment
through. Even under extreme water and
sediment load, SILTRON keeps seeping.
