GMA Fall 2021 Lobby Day

As we continue to deal with the implications
of the pandemic, GMA is making every effort
to maintain our influence with federal and
state governments to position our industry for
success. This year's Lobby Day will take place in
Washington, D.C. Due to today's fluid nature of
visitations, Whitmer & Worrall will be setting up
three styles of meeting options: 1) Congressional
office visits; 2) Reception/lunch invitations; 3)
Virtual visits. Please register by logging in to IFAI's

possible so that we can start the requests to meet

The American Society of Civil Engineers
(ASCE) Geo-Extreme 2021 aims to create a
multidisciplinary forum to discuss how the
geoengineering community can work with other
professionals to properly cope with extreme
events (such as hurricanes, floods, extreme
precipitations, droughts, wildfires, debris flows,
earthquakes, tsunamis and landslides) under a
changing climate. The event will be held at the
Hyatt Regency Savannah.

7th Asian Regional Conference on Geosynthetic
and 2022 IGS ACC Young Engineers Conference,
originally scheduled for Nov. 22-26, 2021, has
been postponed. The conference will now be
held April 11-15, 2022.
