Focal point
At La Maison Fête, the designers love big
bars. A wooden bar with modern lines from
Patina Rentals was the perfect statement
piece for the party. "This was a 120-person
event, so instead of putting two or three
bars in different areas, we wanted to make
one bar the focal point, and I think we did
that by centering it in the tent, adding the
shelving units behind it, and it had this
cool dimension to it," Marano says. High
tops and crank tables with stools helped
to keep dining casual, and light fixtures were
perfectly positioned over key areas, such
as a lounge at the tent entrance featuring
a game table with giant Jenga®.
