HOOK AND LOOP STRAPS
Scovill's DOT® Hook and Loop offers a versatile
solution to meet the demands of many
applications that require both strong closure
and smooth opening. The 100 percent
polyester construction offers durability
and resistance to stretching, shrinking
and fading, while maintaining full closure
strength in wet conditions. Polyhold™ is perfect
for marine environments, medical applications
and sports and recreational activities. Available in
black and white standard colors in 25-yard and
50-yard rolls.
TOUGH GROMMETS
AND WASHERS
Scovill's DOT® stainless steel Grommets and
Washers are well suited for marine and
other adverse environments. They are made
of tough, nonporous SAE 304 stainless
steel and they are lighter, yet stronger than
brass options. Cables and ropes will not
wear through and they will not go "out of
round" under tension. These grommets and
washers offer superior resistance to rust, stains,
corrosion, UV light and scratches, and range from
size #0 to #5.
STRONG SNAP FASTENERS
Scovill's DOT® Durable 316 marine grade stainless steel
snap fasteners are primarily suited for marine and other harsh,
corrosive environments. 316 stainless steel caps, sockets, studs
and posts have a high molybdenum content, offering superior
corrosive resistance, even in the most severe environments. Ideal
for saltwater conditions, the fasteners resist pitting and crevice
corrosion when subjected to chloride environments and other
harsh chemicals and cleaners.
DURABLE DOT® FASTENERS
Scovill's DOT® directional snap fasteners
are primarily suited for marine, tent
and awning, automotive, and leather
applications.The fasteners lock and can
only be released from one direction,
providing security against unintentional
release.These heavy-duty fasteners lock on
three sides and are opened by lifting the fourth
side where the DOT is shown on the face of the socket component.
Rust-resistant, they are constructed of brass or other nonferrous
metals to withstand difficult conditions.

NEW MARINE FASTENERS
Stimpson's line of 304 stainless steel fastening solutions now
includes plain grommets and washers in sizes #00-#4, rolled
rim grommets and spur washers in sizes #0-#4, the lightweight
E-Series rolled rim grommets and spur washers in sizes #0-#4,
E-Series self-piercing grommets and washers in sizes #2 and
2XL, and 24-Line stainless steel plain and screw stud snap sets.
These new additions complement its brass fastening solutions
for marine applications including sails, boat covers, dodgers
and cushions.
