Project Description: The customer wanted
a cover that kept his boat clean, protected
his investment and could be multipurposed
for towing and for storage. The fi nal design
tracked the entire hardtop so that the cover
could zip on and off for attachment. Front
towing straps were added to secure it to
the trailer for added protection. Vents were
added to the port and starboard sides
to allow heat and moisture to escape. To
make installation and removal of the cover
as easy as possible, a zipper entrance was
added on the port and starboard sides that
splits the cover into two separate pieces.
This also allows the customer to gain access
to his boat with minimal work involved. The
cover provides the ultimate protection and
is streamlined to the boat. It was designed
to not only be used on land but also while
docked in the water.

Project Description: This project was to
make a well-fi tted, almost " skin-tight " cover
for a large tender stored on the bow of a
superyacht, with no fastening to the boat.
The design of the boat was based on a
1956 Porsche Speedster combined with
elements of the watercraft of the 1930s.
As the boat was extremely fragile with a
delicate paint job, the cover needed to be
lined with a soft protective layer against the
paint and also be lightweight for storage.
Templating was painstaking due to the
complexity of the distinctive shape of the
bow and stern of the boat. Each section of
the cover had a shape that needed to be
joined together in the correct location for a
proper fi t and the client's desired aesthetic
look. Shock cord in the hem keeps the
cover on and in its desired location just
below the waterline.

Project Description: This Activ 805
Sundeck Quicksilver stays outside in the
harsh weather conditions of Croatia yearround.
The customers wanted a full cover
to provide UV protection for the entire
boat down to the waterline, including
the outboard motor. They also wanted
access to the battery without having
to remove the entire cover. Additionally,
the cover has to withstand trailering on
the German Autobahn and Croatian
winter storms where wind speeds can
exceed 150 km/hour (more than 90
mph), so the cover had to fi t like a glove.
The sewn-in webbing runs directly below
the chine, which is enough to pull the
full cover downward without the need
for additional straps. Due to the zipper
at the bathing platform for easy battery
access, a separate cover was made for
the outboard motor that can be zipped
onto the main cover. The main cover uses
two ratchets (one on each side) and
Stayput bungees at the bathing platform.
