IT'S TIME TO SEE BC
Those who are already boaters know that
BC has some of the most stunning inland and
coastal waterways in the world. Those who
are new to boating or are exploring the idea
of joining the boating lifestyle quickly learn
that we're lucky to live in such an amazing
geographic region that makes our time on the
water so special. The primary ingredients of
the boating lifestyle are simple: time, water,
and a boat.
Time is a precious commodity these days.
There's something so incredibly special about
the time we spend on the water; it allows us to
escape the grind of the work week and seize
the opportunity to regroup and re-energize. It's
time to disconnect from the connected-world
we live in, so we can reconnect with family
and friends.
As the team responsible to welcome
existing and new boaters to the Vancouver
Boat Show, we take our role seriously and

the Vancouver International Boat Show

primary motivator every year for new and
returning attendees to plan their outings for
the fast-approaching summer season.
We want more people to know what we
know - getting out on the water is easy and
affordable. Boating is open to everyone and
the memories made with family and friends

For 58 years, the Vancouver International
Boat Show has helped bring the boating lifestyle to millions of people who live or boat in
British Columbia. As an industry, recreational
boating injects over $1 billion annually into
the provincial economy and employs nearly
17,000 British Columbians. Boat dealers and
service stores, marinas and boat manufacturers are among the biggest contributors within
the core industry.
On a national level, 12.4 million people
participate in some type of boating in Canada
each year - that's 43% of our country!
Generations of Canadians know that Life is so
much Better with a Boat! And that sentiment
is understood in BC more than anywhere else
in Canada.
