J. Michael Brubaker ('78) and his
wife, Linda, retired after 33 years of
church planting in New England as
pastor-missionaries with the Rural
Home Missionary Association (RHMA)
of Morton, Illinois. They have returned
to the Lancaster area to be closer to
family. Mike is now with Interim Pastor
Ministries, serving churches in North
America, and is also available for pulpit
supply.
Melanie (Fiore '78) Peiffer settled in
Royersford, Pennsylvania, following
her husband Frank's death in 2019. She
retired from her position, Director of
Business with the Pacific Coast League,
as of December 2020. She is beginning
a blog with topics on daily life with
Scriptural insights.
Randy Wilding ('78), married to
Margaret and blessed with three
children and six grandchildren, retired
from pastoral ministry after serving
churches in North Carolina and Florida
for 35 years. He was appointed as
Executive Director of a new mission
called SAGE (Strategic Advancement
for Gospel Empowerment)
International. Randy is excited to see
what God is doing to build His Church
around the world and to be used to
make disciples of all nations. He is
living joyfully in Florida.
1980s
Robert Yost's ('82) book, " The
Layperson's Library: Essential Bible
Study Tools for the Man and Woman
in the Pew, " is now in print. This book
should prove to be a game-changer
for laity who want to enhance their
personal Bible study. A free PDF of
the book will be sent to full-time
vocational workers by emailing the
author.
Kevin Newman ('83) became the
Interim President of Faith Bible College
of Norfolk, Virginia, in June 2020. He
continues to serve as Academic
Dean/Provost and as an instructor.
1990s
David Forwood ('95) resides in
Manheim, Pennsylvania, with his
wife, Angie, of 24 years and has three
children, ages 22, 20 and 17. After LBC,
Dave went on to earn his Master of
Arts in Professional Counseling and is
now seeking his next assignment from
God after many years in mental health
and a recent pastorate at his home
church.
Brian Hennon ('98) was promoted
to Senior Hospice Consultant with
Residential Home Health and Hospice.
After spending 20 years in full-time,
vocational pastoral ministry, he has
discovered that ministry is rich and
rewarding outside the walls of a
church building. Brian and his wife,
Emily, live in New Cumberland with
their two children and he writes
periodically at bhennon.wordpress.com.
