stores customize their lineup, giving
each store a distinctive selection. Given
limited shelf space and the need to keep
inventory manageable, each store considers
its customers' preferences (based
on prior sales and customer requests,
for example) to stock open spots on
the shelves.
#3 Since no store is big enough for
the 80 standard items plus the remaining
products available at Virginia ABC, that
leaves an amazing array of products
at the warehouse. Of these products,
some make their way to a few local
stores, while other special products
are available only at the warehouse ...

arrive at your store of choice in seven
to 14 days. Virginia ABC will notify you
when your items are ready.
While store associates can help you
order spirits not on their shelves, you
can also let your fingers do the walking
and ordering.

Manhattan
▷ 2 OZ NOBLE OAK DOUBLE
OAK WHISKEY
▷ 1 OZ ANTICA FORMULA
VERMOUTH
▷ 2 DASHES ANGOSTURA
BITTERS
▷ CHERRIES FOR GARNISH
Pour the Noble Oak, Antica
Formula and bitters into a
mixing glass with ice. Stir until
well chilled. Strain into a chilled
cocktail glass and
garnish with a brandied cherry.

Margarita
▷ 2 PARTS MILAGRO SILVER
▷ 3/4 PART *AGAVE NECTAR
▷ 1 PART FRESH LIME JUICE
▷ 1 LIME WHEEL (GARNISH)
Pour all ingredients into a Boston
shaker, add ice, shake and strain
over fresh ice into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
*Or Substitute with Simple Syrup.
Sagamore Rye
Double Oak
Orange Crush
▷ 11/2 OZ SAGAMORE RYE
▷ 3 OZ ORANGE JUICE
▷ ¼ OZ SIMPLE SYRUP
▷ ¼ OZ ORANGE LIQUEUR
▷ 2 OZ LEMON LIME SODA
▷ ORANGE WHEEL GARNISH
Mix all ingredients excluding the
lemon lime soda into a cocktail
shaker. Add ice & shake until cold.
Strain into Collins glass filled with
crushed ice. Top with lemon lime
soda. Garnish with an orange
wheel.
Cherry Old
Fashioned
▷ 2 OZ BOURBON
▷ 3/4 OZ CHERRY HEERING
▷ 1/4 OZ SIMPLE SYRUP
▷ 2 DASHES BITTERS
▷ CHERRY
▷ LEMON PEEL
In a mixing glass with ice,
combine rye, Cherry Heering
and simple syrup. Add two
dashes of bitters and stir until
well chilled. Strain into a
rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with a
cherry and a big
twist of lemon
peel.
