Lindsay Wilkerson and Kevin Carroll were living
one floor apart in the same dorm building at
Virginia Tech when they first met as freshmen.
Kevin and his roommate were walking around,
introducing themselves to their neighbors, and
eventually came knocking on Lindsay's door.
Six years later, the couple made their way back
to the college to watch the Hokies take on Notre
Dame in their homecoming game. The next day,
Kevin asked Lindsay to walk around campus so
they could relive old memories, but little did
she know they'd be making a brand new one!
A hidden photographer captured the moment
Kevin got down on one knee and proposed to
her in the middle of the legendary drillfield.

The couple is so grateful to their vendor team for
bringing their vision to life. Surrounded by the
Blue Ridge Mountains, they said I do under an
arbor beautifully adorned with timeless pink and
white flowers, violinists playing classical music in
the background. The blooms were also featured
in eye-catching centerpieces and cascaded down
the gorgeous (and delicious!) five-tiered cake.
Guests flooded the dance floor when the DJ
played " Enter Sandman, " a nod to the couple's alma
mater. Another favorite memory of Lindsay's was
listening to the " funny yet touching " speeches. At
the end of the night, loved ones lined up outside
the venue and waved sparklers as the newlyweds
made their grand exit in an antique Rolls Royce.
