SEEING SPARKLES
Harvey Brookins first caught a glimpse of Martina
Fudge on social media and was instantly intrigued
by her smile. Two years after they friended each
other, he worked up the courage to private
message her. They were quick to bond over their
spirituality and family-oriented natures and were
shocked to learn they had many mutual friends
and had at one time been working for the same
company but somehow never crossed paths.
The couple and their kids were enjoying a nice
dinner by the harbor in Baltimore when Harvey
caught Martina by surprise when he asked her to
marry him. He'd kept his plans under wraps by
leading her to believe they were just there to see
fireworks. " Boy did she see sparkles! " Harvey says.
FUN FOR ALL
In a traditional church ceremony surrounded by
loved ones, Martina and Harvey exchanged vows
and gorgeous, diamond-studded wedding bands.
The bride had everyone giggling as she strutted
her way back down the aisle, thrilled that she
and Harvey were officially husband and wife.
Martina traded out her ceremony dress for a
glitzy silver number during the reception. Everyone
enjoyed a casual, buffet-style dinner of southerninspired
favorites like fried chicken, cornbread
and mac and cheese before the newlyweds cut
into their beautiful two-tiered cake. The best of
memories were made as they spent the rest of the
night mingling and partying it up on the dance
floor with their fun-loving family and friends.
