Si le salarié est généralement spécialiste dans un seul domaine, le chef d'entreprise se doit d'être multi casquettes. Il est expert de son cœur de métier
mais aussi tour à tour directeur commercial, chef de la communication,
contrôleur de gestion et comptable. Le flux de choses à faire est immense et
paraît parfois intarissable... Pire, le dirigeant n'a personne au-dessus de lui
pour définir le cap à suivre et doit mener sa barque seul.
L'un des premiers pièges pour vous, en tant que jeune créateur d'entreprise,
c'est donc de vous retrouver submergé par toutes les tâches à réaliser ou
perdu au milieu des conseils de votre entourage, généralement bienveillant
mais dont les connaissances sur votre projet sont parfois insuffisantes.
Une vision forte vous aidera à garder une hauteur de vue et à mieux cerner
et identifier vos priorités. Nous allons voir aussi que le fait d'avoir une vision
vous permettra de gagner du temps dans votre développement, de conserver
votre motivation et d'emmener avec vous vos partenaires et, le cas échéant,
vos salariés.
En tant que créateur ou dirigeant, en plus de vos différentes casquettes
métier, vous avez sûrement beaucoup plus d'idées de développement pour
votre entreprise que vous ne pouvez en réaliser. Une partie de votre travail va
donc consister à définir vos priorités et à faire le tri entre les idées à développer et celles à abandonner.
On ne peut pas prévoir l'avenir. Difficile de savoir a priori si votre idée est
géniale ou si elle est mauvaise. Par contre, le fait d'avoir une vision pour votre
entreprise peut vous permettre d'éliminer de facto toutes les pistes qui vous
éloignent de votre vision ou qui ne sont pas en phase avec celle-ci.
