With reference to your advertisement in the Guardian of 1 August 2019, I
am writing to apply for the post of International Logistics Manager. I have
solid background experience managing logistics in famous French and
Swedish chain stores and would be able to bring your company my insight
and knowledge.

For the past three years, I have been working for the Swedish chain store
Ikea as a logistics manager, in Bath. Whereas this experience has been a
success, I am now willing to move on to a job with more scope for responsibilities and more challenges.
As you will notice from my enclosed CV, my experience has enabled me to
build my managerial skills and understand the different company policies
and adapt to them. This has also taught me how to handle responsibilities
and develop my interpersonal skills and has made me more self-confident.
Prior to this, I carried out a number of part-time jobs which have revealed
that I am quite flexible and adaptable to new working environments.

Moreover, my regular face-to-face and telephone contacts with foreign suppliers have improved my language abilities and have confirmed my eagerness to continue working abroad.
