YOUNG AUTO CARE
NETWORK GROUP
WITH more than 1,200 members
under the age of 40, the Young
Auto Care Network Group (YANG)
is the largest community at the Auto
Care Association. YANG members
are represented on virtually every
Auto Care standing committee
and community committee,
including the board of directors.
"YANG is the fastest-growing
and most energetic community
of the Auto Care Association,"
said Courtney Hammer, liaison,
YANG, and director, job and career
development, Auto Care Association.
"Together, the young people of
YANG have created something that
no one else has. Our predecessor
organizations, all very worthy, never
achieved the size, record of growth
or brand awareness of YANG."
This leading community was
formed in January 2014 to help
young professionals establish a circle
of peers, and has hit the ground
running with multiple networking
events annually, scholarship
opportunities and the Young
Professionals Program at AAPEX.

This group has
established itself as
a valuable platform
for future decision
makers, and shares the
industry's full support.
YANG is committed to providing
more opportunities for the next
generation of industry leaders by
offering scholarships to participate in
meetings and networking events at
the Auto Care Association's bi-annual

Leadership Days. Eleven recipients were
chosen to attend Spring Leadership
Days, May 3-5 in San Antonio, Texas,
and joined 80 attendees at the second
annual YANG Leadership Conference,
directly following. In November,
YANG will once again host the Young
Professionals Program at AAPEX in
Las Vegas featuring the YANG Town
Hall, Networking Happy Hour and
complimentary professional headshots.
But members and non-members do
not have to wait until then to connect.
YANG members meet across the
country throughout the year with the
help of the community's Regional
Meet-Up program, currently hosting
on average 20 meet-ups annually.
Members and companies host the
under-40 crowd in their local areas,
typically providing education, a
professional speaker or just a place
to get together. For more information

YANG membership is free and
open to anyone under the age of 40
working in the auto care industry.
This group has established itself as
a valuable platform for future decision
