Car Care Council
Unveils New Logo

The Car Care Council has redesigned
its logo to prominently portray the
council as the organization that drives
the "Be Car Care Aware" consumer
education campaign. While the logo
reinforces the former brand's design, it
showcases the council while keeping
"Be Car Care Aware" as the tagline.
"The Car Care Council entity has, in
the past, just used its name as its logo,"
said Rich White, executive director, Car
Care Council. "But as the council has
evolved and its reputation, credibility
and popularity grow into a non-profit
organization whose mission is to educate
consumers on behalf of the auto care
industry about the benefits of vehicle
care, maintenance and repair, it should
take a dominant position in the logo."

AutoNetTV Media and Car Care Council Form
Co-branded Video Partnership
"Thousands of vehicle owners and
drivers are now learning more about the
benefits of regular vehicle maintenance
and care promoted by the Car Care
Council as they watch television while
waiting for their vehicles to be serviced
or repaired," said Rich White, executive
director, Car Care Council. "This exciting
new partnership will greatly expand the
reach of our tips, advice and information
on behalf of the auto care industry."

All videos will be available in the
ANTV digital management system for
use by ANTV aftermarket subscribers
including program playlists, websites
and other digital technologies including
tablets, kiosks, email links and others.

AutoNetTV Media (ANTV) and the Car
Care Council recently formed a cobranding video partnership to produce
and broadcast timely videos to be
viewed by consumers in independent
repair shop waiting rooms.
Car Care Council content is being used
to create 40-to-90-second consumerfacing videos by ANTV to include liveaction, motion graphics, 3D animation,
sound, professional voice talent and
other multimedia assets. The videos will
be available to over 4,700 independent
repair shop ANTV subscribers for viewing
on their AutoNetTV programing.

consumer-focused press releases to a

California DMV Field Offices to Show Council Video
The 178 California Department of Motor
Vehicle (DMV) field offices throughout the
state will be showing a video about the
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (MMWA)
produced by the Car Care Council in
conjunction with AutoNetTV Media.
As part of a partnership between
the council and AutoNetTV Media, the
30-second animated video will help educate
motorists watching television screens in

DMV waiting rooms about MMWA. The act
is a law that stipulates that consumers do
not have to return to a new car dealership to
install only original equipment replacement
parts in order to protect the new car
warranty. The video clarifies that consumers
can obtain service and repair and install
aftermarket parts at independent shops
without fear of voiding the new car warranty.
