YANG
The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG)
provides auto care professionals under the age
of 40 the opportunity to network with industry
peers, enhance knowledge and improve
leadership capabilities. YANG was formed with
a desire to help young professionals establish a
circle of peers with which to grow alongside in
their careers. Participants are future executive
level staffers of the auto care industry that
see the value in establishing connections with
other young professionals that will one day be
business owners and key decision makers.

"YANG time" is a series of webinars hosted by
the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG),
featuring career development topics for young
professionals like networking, the general makeup and opportunities to get involved in the
auto care industry, and how to be a leader.

The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG)
and the Automotive Warehouse Distributors
Association (AWDA) teamed up to offer 12 young
industry professionals $1,100 scholarships
to attend the Auto Care Association's Spring
Leadership Days, May 6-8, 2015 at the Hyatt
Regency, Scottsdale, Ariz. Next Steppers
participated in committee meetings and
networking events with veteran industry leaders.

Auto Care Internship Scholarship Fund
In partnership with the Automotive Warehouse
Distributors Association (AWDA), the Auto Care
Internship Scholarship fund helps ease the
financial burden of temporary relocation for
students who pursue internships in locations more
than 100 miles from their permanent address.
Scholarships are in the amount of $2,500 to
contribute to the costs of round-trip travel to the
internship location, lodging, utilities and food.
