four or five years. It's been this
format, where it's been catered with
the Bavarian spread of food and
beer, and the band playing during
the event. " When I asked his
favorite part of the event, he
responded, " Is there one favorite
part? It's the whole experience of
having all the club members together,
showing the cars, and finishing off
the day with the Oktoberfest lunch
and music. " I couldn't agree more!
Another
familiar name
amongst NCC members, Marc
Caden, " arrived in style " (Caden's
words) with Jeff Renaldo in
Renaldo's E36 M3. Caden's sentiments
were shared with many
others in attendance. " For me
there's no one thing that stands out.
I enjoy the German music, the
German food-the pretzels are
great-and the nice weather. And I
really appreciate the dealership
putting this on for the club. "
Having arrived just after 8
a.m., the 3 p.m. close of the event
came way too quickly. Between
Passport BMW's hospitality, catering
by Old Europe, music by
Blaskapelle Alte Kameraden of The
City of Fairfax Band Association,
NCC's awesome volunteers and
organizers, and hundreds of
enthusiastic members of our club
family, it's hard for me to choose
just one favorite thing about the
event. Here's hoping that this NCC
and Passport BMW tradition
continues for years to come.
