NCC's Fall HPDE and Club Race A Wet and Wild West Virginia Weekend By Fraser Dachille and Dennis Pippy | Photos by FormerInstants.com T he 2022 calendar turned to October and NCC was met with a wet weekend at Summit Point for the Fall HPDE and Club Race. The NCC Fall HPDE saw over 150 registered drivers and instructors plus a full field of Club Racers for the weekend (not including those who were on hand to volunteer to run the event and the crews on hand for the race teams). The HPDE weekend this year had a full slate with five ■ (Top) Wipers on, headlights on. Racer attendance was 6 up to 41 racers compared to 26 racers the previous year. We originally planned to have a vintage BMW race in conjunction with our normal BMW race, however, we only had seven vintage racers sign up, which forced us to combine the vintage and modern BMW classes into a single run group. For those who have never attended an NCC HPDE, each run group includes approximately two classroom sessions daily. This year's weather led to a number of students " auditing " other groups' classroom sessions to avoid the wet weather. derBayerischehttps://www.formerinstants.com/
