The event took place over three
days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Friday's race was in the dry, but it
rained continuously on Saturday
and Sunday. In spite of the poor
weather conditions, the racers experienced
some great competition and
racing! The feature race was held
on Saturday afternoon; 35 racers
took the green flag. The feature race
results (for race classes with more
than one car) were as follows:
- B Mod - Todd Brown
- C Mod - Liam Harrow
- D Mod - Wade Wilson
- I Prepared - Matt Noonan
- J Prepared - Scott Reiman
- I Sport - Connor Wharton
- Spec E46 - Dan March
Club Racing held three races
over the weekend, and the results of
all three can be found here*. There
were minimal off-track incidents,
despite the wet weather and the
tendency for cars to travel long
distances once off the track surface.
The Driving School Steering
Committee and all of the Chapter's
volunteers put on a super event -
great execution, food, and hospitality!
Next year, we hope to
capitalize on our recent success to
attract more vintage BMW racers
via earlier advertising and word of
mouth by racers.
