AHEPA Camden Chapter 69 Hall in Cherry Hill, N.J., over the
AHEPA YouTube Channel or the AHEPA Facebook page. Prior to
the broadcast, 2020 delegate yearbooks were distributed to the
membership.
Live presentations were made by Supreme President
Horiates, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Nicholas A.
Karacostas, PSP; and Executive Director Basil N. Mossaidis.
In addition, pre-recorded presentations were made by
Supreme and Grand Lodge officers and committee chairmen.
They included: Daughters of Penelope Grand President Celia
Kachmarski, Maids of Athena Grand President Theodora
Ronstadt, Canadian President Christos Argiriou, Supreme
Secretary Jim Stasios, Supreme Treasurer Savas Tsivicos,
Supreme Counselor Lou Atsaves, and Supreme Athletic
Director Chris Atsaves. In addition, AHEPA National Housing
Corporation President Carl Hollister, PSP; National Educational
Foundation Chairman George Vorkas, Cyprus and Hellenic
Affairs Chairman Dr. Zenon Christodoulou, and Past Supreme
Governor George Karatzia, representing the AHEPA Service
Dogs for Warriors Committee presented reports. Last year's
Convention Business Chair Supreme Governor Chris Kaitson
and Convention Vice Chair Marshall Monsell made a special
introduction.
National awards selected by the Supreme Lodge were also
announced by Supreme President Horiates.

In a stirring moment of the program, Supreme President
Horiates bestowed the Ahepan of the Year Award posthumously
to Dr. Angelo Patsalis of Aegean Chapter 506 of Sterling Heights,
Michigan. As reported in the summer 2020 edition of The
Ahepan, Brother Patsalis, an ER doctor, succumbed to coronavirus while serving on the front line of the
pandemic. His cousin, Brother Angelo
Patsalis, provided a heartfelt thank you
to all Ahepans for honoring Brother
Patsalis' memory with the award.
"AHEPA Live! The 2020 Reports: The
year that will not be forgotten" was a
unique way for AHEPA to wrap-up the
administrative year in lieu of a Supreme
Dr. Angelo Patsalis
Convention. The broadcast, viewed by
thousands, remains available for view on AHEPA's YouTube channel or AHEPA's Facebook page.
Now, AHEPA turns the page to its 99th year. In doing so, the
Order will strive to build upon its meaningful community service
work and augment its storied history.
