Aegean Chapter 506, Sterling Heights, Mich.
Working in cooperation with local clergy, Ahepans are identifying and aiding families who have been impacted economically by

District 12
AHEPA Chapter 78 Schereville/Gary, Ind.
This year's "Walk for Sojourner Truth House" at which "Team
AHEPA 78" participates annually, was held virtually. Despite this
challenge, "Team AHEPA 78" raised nearly $12,000 for the event.
The team's efforts were dedicated two departed team members,
Helene Heilmeyer and Billy Panagiotides.
District 13
North Shore Chapter 94, Chicago
District 17
AHEPA Chapter 145, Denver
The chapter supplied thousands of KN95 face masks to the City
and County of Denver. The Ahepans delivered them to officials
from Denver Health and to fire and rescue teams at South Metro
Fire Rescue. Also, the chapter's scholarship board donated
$7,000 to cover the cost of 50 iPads to educate 200 Greek school
students who participate in virtual classes for the 2020-21
school year. Chapter Vice President Matt Sares and Scholarship
Board Chair Marshall Monsell presented the donation to Greek
School President Natasa Kallergis. During the past 20 years, the
chapter has donated more than $75,000 to the school.
The chapter donated $4,465 to the Greater Chicago Food
Depository, July 30, 2020. Supreme Governor and Chapter 94
President Peter G. Lekas presented the donation to Greater Chicago
Food Depository Executive
Director Joshua Selva. Supreme
Counselor Louis G. Atsaves,
District 13 Lt. Gov. George C.
George, Supreme Athletic
Director Chris G. Atsaves, and
AHEPA Athletics Hall of Fame
Member Kirk Vidas accompanied Lekas to the presentation of
the donation. The chapter plans
to make this a regular cause as
part of the "AHEPA Cares" program created in response to the
COVID-19 pandemic. The project
started with a letter to chapter
members requesting a special
donation for this cause, and the
response was overwhelming and
heartwarming.
