Celebration of Heritage,
Mental Health Awareness
at Forefront of Agenda
I am humbled and honored to address the AHEPA family as
the newly elected Sons of Pericles Supreme President. I thank
the Brothers who have entrusted me and the entire Lodge to
lead the Order during the upcoming term. I am excited to begin this new year, and I look forward to working alongside
Supreme President George Horiates, Grand President Celia
Kachmarski, and Grand President Theodora Ronstadt.
This year, the Sons of Pericles will continue to support The
JED foundation for its National Project, working in tandem
with the Maids of Athena. We were pleased to realize a significant increase in awareness for mental health and assistance
for those in need. The battle is not over, and we are certainly
not done fighting. We know it is the
most opportune moment to support
further research, awareness, and
help for those who are suffering.
The novel coronavirus has probably
affected us all in some way, whether it be physically, psychologically,
or spiritually. Together, we know
we can make a difference in our
own communities and to society at

large. We appreciate the support of
the community as our efforts commence.
In addition to supporting The JED Foundation, the Sons of
Pericles Lodge elected to focus on the celebration of the Bicentennial of Greece. Throughout this year, we plan to solidify our
members' knowledge on the history and culture of Greece to
foster philhellenism, philothimo, and philanthropy. Through
their knowledge and passion, we can reignite the world's passion and love for Greece. We look forward to working with the
community on this initiative.
Please reach out to me, or Supreme Lodge officers, with anything you feel we can help with. With everything going on, from
quarantine to Greece's bicentennial, we have a golden opportunity to come together and leave our mark on history. Together,
we can propel our culture forward and remind the world we
are still here and stronger than ever. We are one big AHEPA
family, and we are stronger together. We must take advantage of
our numbers, but also not be afraid to reach out to one another
as well as outside organizations and communities. I hope to be
able to count on the community for help and guidance to celebrate and share our culture for all to see its glory.

It is an honor to serve the Maids of Athena as Grand President
for a second term. I am humbled by the opportunity. Congratulations to Sons of Pericles Supreme President Timothy Noitsis
and the Supreme Lodge officers on their election. Moreover, I
am excited to work together closely again with Supreme President George Horiates and Grand President Celia Kachmarski.
The Maids of Athena Grand Lodge
looks forward to continued collaboration and growth between all four
Orders of the AHEPA family.
It is with great excitement to
announce and welcome newly appointed Grand Secretary Mary Bellissimo, who hails from Toronto,
Ontario. Throughout the year, the
MOA Grand Lodge will be focusing

its efforts on membership retention
and growth as well as philanthropic programs. Through their
determination, dedication, and enthusiasm for our Order,
the Grand Lodge officers will work diligently to achieve new
heights for the organization.
Moreover, the Maids of Athena are continuing to raise funds
to benefit The JED Foundation, an organization that promotes
mental health among young adults during transitory years,
alongside the Sons of Pericles, as our National Project. Also,
we will continue to fundraise for Girls Who Code, which I have
decided to keep for my President's Project. Girls Who Code is
an organization that aims to close the gender gap in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks like
and does while building the largest pipeline of future female
engineers.
Lastly, I have selected "Persistence" as our year-long theme.
Last year was unlike any other. All of us have experienced
something that was completely unforeseen and new to us. Yet
we persisted and made it through and will continue to grow
and prosper through this administrative year.

officers, should you ever need anything. On behalf of the entire
Maids of Athena Grand Lodge, we extend our best wishes for
