AHEPA 192 Apartments Holds Rededication Ceremony
AHEPA 192 Inc. and AHEPA Management Company held a rededication
ribbon-cutting ceremony of AHEPA 192
Apartments, December 14, 2019. Located
in Johnston, Iowa, the affordable living
facility for the elderly recently underwent extensive property renovations.
Several dignitaries presented
remarks at the rededication, including: Hon. Paula Dierenfeld, mayor of
Johnston; Steve Eggleston, HUD director of the Des Moines Field Office, and
Pamela Dodge, account executive, HUD
Des Moines Asset Management Office;
Steve Beck, President/CEO, AHEPA
Management Company; and Angela
Clements, regional manager, AHEPA
Management Company.
District 14 Governor Dr. Adel Makar,
Daughters of Penelope District 14
Speaking at the rededication ceremony were (l-r): Johnston Mayor Dierenfeld, AHEPA 192,

represented the AHEPA family and provided remarks.
Harry Zubulake, AHEPA 192
Charitable Trust president, highlighted
the Trust's contributions to the renovation project, which included new office
furniture and a rolling countertop cart
for the community room.
Brother James Karthan, AHEPA
192 Apartments Inc., served as master
of ceremonies. Father Basil Hickman,
Saint George Greek Orthodox Church,
Des Moines, offered a blessing for the
building.
After the speaking program, the
ribbon-cutting ceremony took place followed by a tour of one of the finished
units and a reception.
